School Reports
-
All Victorian government schools must develop a four year School Strategic Plan in the term following a review endorsed by the Principal and School Council President.
Following the completion of a school review, the Key Directions (developed by the core school review panel and articulated in the review report) form the school’s SSP goals, targets and Key Improvement Strategies (KIS).
The School Improvement Team leads the school in reviewing or updating the school’s philosophy. They share the draft goals, targets and KIS with staff and the broader community to ensure collective ownership and support for the SSP over the next 4 years.
The goals, targets and KIS articulated in the SSP cascade into the Annual Implementation Plan, and inform staff Performance and Development Plans, over the next 4 years.

The AIP operationalises the 4-year School Strategic Plan (SSP).
All schools must prepare an AIP each year which outlines how the school will implement the goals and key improvement strategies (KIS) that will be their focus for improvement in the coming year.

The Annual Report provides an opportunity to share the school’s achievements and progress with the school community.
The Annual Report is prepared in 2 parts:
the performance summary, which details the school’s performance from the past year and trends over time.
the ‘About our school’ commentary, which is prepared by the principal and outlines the achievements of the school in the previous year.
